The 9th AGM of EAAAS will be held on 22nd of June 2007. Eng. Donald Karunaratne will again host the venue for meeting and entertainment. We thank him for his continuous commitments to EAAAS.
 
Senior Electrical Engineer Sajith Mallikarachchi is to leave the country for Canada on no pay leave. We wish him all success.
 
The Saga of much delayed AASL restructuring ... to happen.. or not .....?
 
EAAAS joins hands with the Joint Trade Union Front of  AASL to seek remedy for common issues.
 
Senior Electronics Engineer P. Athauda resigned from AASL and left Sri Lanka for U.K. EAAAS wishes him good luck.
 
Eng. Lalitha Warusawitarana is leaving Sri Lanka for Oman to take over a job in Oman for a period of one & half years. EAAAS wishes him all the very best.
 
Mr. Thilaan Fernando takes over duties permanently at BIA, Katunayake. We wish him success in all of his future endeavours.

Senior Eng. P. Athauda has returned to Island from U.K. after 2 years and resumed duties as the Engineer in Charge of Transmitting Station, Attidiya
 
AASL restructuring begins..... Heads of Divisions renamed.... Will the restructuring result in enhanced productivity and cost reduction...? Will it be merely limited to setting up of promotion schemes to please individuals....? How would Professional Engineers in AASL analyze this change..?

EAAAS Members, Mr. Thilaan Fernando and Eng. Indika Senadeera are back in Island after their visit to South Korea to attend a KOICA training program on "GNSS Technology".
